Oasis continues to be my number one among naturist resorts

I go there several times every year. There may not be extravagant parties like in Cap d’Agde, but you can enjoy a relaxed naturist holiday. Although the weather is not always what you imagine when you think of a vacation at the Mediterranean, over time you learn to appreciate that. There is no fashion show, you don’t have to be styled; everyone can walk around as they wish and can be naked 24 hours a day

This time I didn’t drive by car, but I flew.

If you compare the prices and consider the lack of stress from the long drive, the flight is often much cheaper. The flight from Weeze to Beziers cost only 40 euros. Just the toll for the highway is now at 80 euros. Of course, the rental car, without which you can hardly get around in Oasis, also costs money.

My daily routine in the Oasis is not very spectacular: Of course, you sleep longer than at home, then you go naked to the baker to get the bread for breakfast.

Breakfast on the balcony. If the sun is shining and there is no wind, it’s just a few steps to the beach. If it’s too windy, I stay on the balcony, where it is usually sheltered from the wind. However, it doesn’t keep me at the beach for as long as it used to. 3-4 hours of sun per day is enough. Then you can go for a drink in one of the bars or meet acquaintances. In the evening, you go out to eat or cook at home. Of course, there is often a barbecue. During the season, there are frequently music events in one of the bars in the Oasis or Aphrodite, but I often stay in my holiday apartment now, enjoying the evening on the balcony or simply watching a movie on TV.

You also have to reckon with a few days of strong winds or even rain during the peak season. If the sand starts blowing, the beach day is off.

However, there are many options for activities: the Oasis is very conveniently located for this. There are countless excursion opportunities, which I have often reported on in my previous posts.
Many people are currently upset about the municipality’s measures at the beach. The dunes have been reinforced right in front of the beach apartments. The sand has now piled up so high that from the terraces, you can hardly see the sea anymore. This measure is intended to serve environmental protection.
