When I heard about the new naturist hotel on Mallorca, I was initially skeptical. I then tried to get information about the hotel. The information available in the various evaluation portals were no longer up-to-date and originated from the period before the renovation and conversion to the naturist hotel.
Many of these reviews were also negative. But when I learned about Oböna, as one of the biggest travel companies in the nudist area, the hotel would be exclusive to their program, I thought that there would be something with the first official naturist hotel. Nevertheless, apart from eicherischen reports with RTL and picture no secured opinions to get.
I decided not to book my spa trip to Malle in this hotel, but rather to go back to Can Picafort and from there the hotel to visit, then next time to book there.
So I drove on the 4th of July in the direction of the hotel. From Can Picafort drive towards Cala Ratjada. After approximately 10 km turn left towards Colonia St. Pere. After another 3 km you reach the settlement. The way to the hotel is well signposted. The hotel is located at the end of the village, at the end of a little busy street. The hotel makes from the outside a friendly impression. It is slightly elevated, directly on the Felsufer.
I parked my car and went around the hotel to get a first impression.
I did not want to be a spanner, so I did not shoot any hidden pictures. Halfway, a couple came to meet me. I just asked kindly if they were guests of the hotel and they could describe their experiences. The two were very friendly. They were immediately ready to show me the whole hotel. First we went to her apartment. It was a kind of terraced house with two floors. The house had a separate entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and large terrace with sunbathing.
From the terrace one reached the green interior of the hotel with access to the great pool. From the pool you had a great view over the bay of Alcudia. The whole made a very well-kept impression. Especially many guests did not seem to be there. Everything was very quiet, no children, mainly older people.
All apartments have been renovated. The apartment of my friendly guests should have sea view, if one strained oneself, one could also recognize the sea between other houses. Other apartments were probably better. This should be clarified during the booking.
The tour continued into the restaurant area. This one I liked very much. The whole thing had the character of a typical Spanish finca. One sits on the terrace among trees, has its solid table. According to my acquaintances the food should be good. I myself can not make any statements. In the restaurant I met the very friendly hotel manager. At the front desk sat a nice lady, which gave me willingly information. However, the communication is carried out exclusively in English.
As I said, I could unfortunately no pictures in the hotel. The area of the restaurant and the reception is excluded from the naturist and also clearly marked. The rest of the range can be Free of textiles. Since the accesses to the houses are partly from the street, you can also walk naked there. Walk along a fortified but not paved path along the coast to the nudist beach. This way you can also use textiles. So it is not necessary to take swimwear with the beach, you can rather from the pool directly naked to the beach. Here one is to the Sandstrand then cirka. 10 minutes on the road.
As I said, the hotel is beautiful but lonesome. The center of Colonia St Pere is within walking distance, but nothing is going on here. To stroll around a promenade in the evening or go to a bar, you have to have a rental car (actually a must for the hotel). If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place. But also as a starting point for numerous excursions the hotel offers itself. I was very positively surprised at the hotel. Again and again I had wondered that there is no courageous entrepreneur who uses the naturist concept to win the more costly naturist clientele. The naturists are approached who want to spend their holidays naked but with a certain standard, so not on a campsite. Hopefully the concept starts, there are still far too few offers like this. In summary
, this hotel is definitely worth a try. Malle is a great tourist destination and combines many advantages: short flight time, weather protection in the season, good prices … If a good naturist hotel is now bookable – simply perfect.
